In this book, I have incorporated all three characteristics sought for in children's books. The interesting content, humorous illustrations and rhyme will draw children of varying ages to read it again and again. It is also helpful in dealing with the complexity of the written English language. My book has been approved by the New York Board of Education for ESL programs and libraries.
I am currently working with students and faculty at Washburn University to produce a companion CD to be used in conjunction with this book. The audio will help Spanish speakers learn to read English.
